Rustom Kerawalla and VIBGYOR Group of Schools Build a Stronger Education Network

Rustom Kerawalla and VIBGYOR Group of Schools are taking important steps towards building a larger and stronger education network in India. The Group recently organised its Annual Leadership Meet in Navi Mumbai. Principals and leadership team members from different parts of the country attended the three day gathering. The event focused on VIBGYOR’s future plans and its journey towards 80+ schools.

The leadership meet was organised around the theme “Navigating the Next Horizon: Charting the Course to 80+ Schools.” The theme represented the Group’s ambition to expand while continuing to focus on the quality of education. It also created an opportunity for school leaders to discuss how VIBGYOR can prepare for the changing needs of modern learners.

Rustom Kerawalla has emphasised that the journey towards 80+ schools is not simply about increasing the number of campuses. The quality of education and the experience provided to students and families remain important priorities. This approach reflects the Group’s focus on responsible growth.

The gathering encouraged principals to share their experiences and ideas. School leaders discussed different aspects of their campuses and looked at ways to create better learning environments. The discussions also considered the changing expectations of parents and the evolving role of educators.

Four panel discussions were included as part of the leadership programme. The Future of Schooling panel looked at how schools can adapt to a changing world. Education is developing quickly and students need learning environments that can prepare them for future opportunities.

Another panel focused on Parents and Community. Strong communication between schools and families can play an important role in student development. The session explored ways to create stronger connections between schools and the communities around them.

The Teachers of the Future panel focused on educators and their role in modern education. A strong teacher base is essential for maintaining educational quality. The Business of Education discussion looked at the operational and financial aspects of sustainable growth.

Vice Chairperson Kavita Kerawalla also shared her views during the event. She highlighted the role of principals in building school communities. Her message focused on the importance of supporting parents and teachers while creating a positive environment for children.

The event also featured motivational sessions from Brigadier Baleyada Muthanna Cariappa and Indian Paralympian Deepa Malik. Their experiences offered valuable lessons in leadership resilience discipline and determination.

VIBGYOR Group of Schools was founded in 2004 by Rustom Kerawalla. The Group now has 41 schools across 15 major cities and supports more than 60,000 learners. As the Group works towards 80+ schools it aims to create a wider education network while keeping students families teachers and quality learning at the heart of its growth.
